Basic Vegan Pancake Recipe

Who doesn’t love a good stack of pancakes? Flapjacks? Hotcakes? Skillet Disc?….Ok I made that last one up.

Here’s what you’ll need:

Basic Vegan Pancakes

4 Pancakes (6” diameter)


  • 1 cup all purppose flour

  • 2 tbsp cane sugar

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • a pinch of sea salt

  • 1 cup almond milk (any plant based milk)

  • 3 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp lemon juice

  1. Heat skillet over medium heat

  2. In a medium bowl mix dry ingredients

  3. Add milk, oil, vanilla, and lemon juice to bowl and continue to whisk

  4. be careful not to overmix, some clumps in the mixture is fine.

  5. Add about a 1/4 cup of pancake mix to the skillet then allow bubbles to form and pop before flipping.5-6 minutes.

  6. Flip cakes then allow new side to cook for 3-5 minutes. top should be golden brown.

  7. Remove from heat. Enjoy.
